Local-vores Unite at New Eat Local First Event

The inaugural Eat Local First Festival will be at the Cabrillo Farmers Market on Saturday.

Think Local First, County of Santa Cruz, will host its inaugural Eat Local First Festival Saturday, October 12, from 9am to 12noon at the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College.  (This farmers market was just named California’s “Best ”  and America’s “Second Best” by Farmland Trust).

Eat Local First will afford the general public the opportunity to meet the market’s local farmers and enjoy treats from over 20 local restaurants, confectionairies, and ice creameries.
