What a terrific Christmas gift on December 25th! Thank you so much for this Santa's Village video.Read More Brought tears to my eyes bringing back what I thought were long lost memories. Happier care-free part of my life from 5 to 7 years old. Many many thanks!

Know any subjects of the Queen? Many are quite unhappy having to spend money supporting her and herRead More whole family, with dozens of layabouts and louts with too much money and too little responsibility. The Queen is probably the richest woman in the world, the bulk of her fortune made from selling opium to China. Dope pushing built the British Empire, don't you know, but doggone if Willie doesn't look all dapper and everything in his red uniform...

I keep hearing about Beasts but haven't seen that or The Master yet. Lincoln was wonderful, and IRead More loved Argo. So glad there are actually movies with plots instead of just explosions!

@Robin:thanks for the feedback. Highly reccomend both beasts and master. Neither are short on actingRead More or story. Ask yourself what's more important to you acting or story. If the answer is acting go with the master if it's story go with beasts. I'l do a review on best movie this weekend. Thanks for your comment!

Dancing is such a great way to get exercise and have fun at the same time. I never would haveRead More thought to observe a class first, but it makes perfect sense. And, so many people are intimidated by the idea of dancing that they miss this opportunity for fun.

Nice story but I never thought museums were/are boring!

Where is this?

Well, the old jail is next to the museum, not the museum building itself. The shows that KathleenRead More Moodie produced were far from being boring. It would be nice to see some good art again along with the community events.

I'm bummed. I hadn't heard that he was sick and 67 is 'way too young. I love his shows and regretRead More that there won't be more coming. Regards to his family and friends.

Oh no! I'll miss watching Huell's TV show. Mr Howser always appeared upbeat and he came acrossRead More genuinely interested in his subjects and gave respect to his interviewees. I learned so much about California from his programs. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family.

The first time I saw Huell Howser and his show, I thought he was a goofball especially with hisRead More accent and semi Gomer Pyle like personality. But then I grew to love the show and looked forward to it every time, because here was a guy, a non native of California, who loves and appreciates this state more than anyone else. I liked the fact that he explored the remote, obscure parts of the State and encouraged everyone to visit those places. I hope his show can go on, in some form. Rest in peace, Huell.
