What's Your Must-Have iPhone App?

Share some recommendations about the apps you can't live without.

The new iPhone 5 came out last week, along with a swanky new operating system and a Siri whose so in-tune with you it seems like she might greet you in the morning with breakfast in bed.

So your phone rocks. Now, what to download? (After, of course, you load favorites like Instagram, Facebook, Pandora and Angry Birds.)

It's a wild, app-ridden world out there. Despite ratings and reviews, it can be hard to determine which flashlight feature will lead you out of the darkness or why actually paying for an app (yikes!) may be worth it.

Time Magazine published this list of the 50 Best Apps earlier this year. Some of the big hits?

  • Dragon Go! is a voice-language app that rivals Siri for accuracy and is accessible to those of us out-of-date users still using the Siri-less iPhone 4.
  • Allrecipes.com Dinner Spinner organizes the recipes you've searched for online so you can grocery shop. In the kitchen, it provides step-by-step instructions. Can't decide what to make? Shake your iPhone and it pops out a recipe based on any criteria you've already set.

PCMag.com has a lists for the 10 Must-Have iPhone Apps, 100 Best Apps, 50 Great Free Apps, 9 iPhone Camera Apps ... you get the idea.
