View Finder: Wine Tasting In the Redwoods

Each week, local photographer Lucas McDaniel showcases the people and places of Scotts Valley through the lens of his camera.

Skov Winery is a short two miles up Bean Creek Road, nestled among tall redwoods. On Saturday, Skov had a wine tasting, showcasing some of its local Santa Cruz Mountains pinot noir, chardonnay, merlot and zinfandel. Local jewelry artist, Claudia MacFarland, was on hand to showcase her new designs.

The winery is open to the public every Saturday or by appointment on other days, and wine tasting events are held throughout the year.
