With Your Vote, Second Harvest Food Bank Can Win a Toyota Truck

The charity that feeds people all over Santa Cruz County is one of 500 finalists for a much-needed truck.

Second Harvest Food Bank—the first food bank in California—is in competition to be one of 500 charities to get a free truck from Toyota.

The car company's "100 Cars for Good" program will give away the cars daily, based on votes at Facebook.

Second Harvest, founded in 1972, has 3,000 volunteers and distributes 7.2 million pounds of food annually to those who need it, including working poor, children and seniors.
