Get Out in Scotts Valley: Wine Tastings, a Movie and a Gardening Class

A wine tasting to help the Scotts Valley High School buy new lab chairs, another fundraiser for the Scotts Valley Montessori School and a Chamber of Commerce mixer are some of the offerings in and around Scotts Valley this weekend.

Where/When: , 3535 N. Main St. in Soquel; Thursday, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Why Go: Now if this doesn't catch your attention as a reason for a wine tasting, we don't know what will. As the organizers of this event point out, science classes are a "pain in the rear" for students, with the school's lab chairs falling apart. Money raised from this benefit will help buy new chairs for the lab.
