“Roof Raisin’ Art” Exhibit

Where/When: Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center, 9341 Mill St., Ben Lomond. Now through Sept. 22. Wednesdays-Sundays, noon-6 p.m.

What: The Art Center’s newest exhibit, “Roof Raisin’ Art,” is opening with a reception on Friday where the public can meet the artists.

Piano Night at Malone’s

Where/When: Malone’s Grille, 4402 Scotts Valley Dr. Friday, 9 p.m.

What: The longtime Scotts Valley bar and restaurant recently underwent a facelift and one of the new features is a piano bar. Join Chris Kelly on the piano to sing your favorite songs every Wednesday and Friday. Chris rocks the house with sing-alongs, humor and fun-filled entertainment, and best of all, he takes requests.

Price: Admission is free. Food and beverages are available at various prices.

Scotts Valley Art & Wine Festival

Where/When: Skypark, 361 Kings Village Rd. Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

What: The Scotts Valley Chamber’s 13th Annual Art & Wine Festival returns to Skypark with 13 wineries and over 100 artists participating. There will also be a Kids Korner, food court and live music. This family-friendly event is one not to be missed.

Price: Admission is free. There is a fee for wine tasting.

Scotts Valley Artisans Crafter's Market

Where/When: Scotts Valley Artisans, 230D Mt. Hermon Rd. (in the parking lot), Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

What: Celebrate summer with local artists every Saturdays at this weekly summer crafter's market, featuring the original work of Santa Cruz County fine artists and artisans. This "local artists only" event showcases the work of our artistically-rich county in a family-friendly, outdoor setting.

Price: Admission is free. Arts and crafts will be available for purchase at various prices.
