Every so often, Starbucks runs a promotion that takes the sting out shelling out $4 or $5 for a drink.
Here’s the next one: Beginning Thursday and running through Sunday, you can buy one holiday drink and get one free between 2 and 5 p.m. The free beverage, of course, must be of equal or lesser value.
This year's holiday beverages include hot, iced or blended versions of Peppermint Mocha, Skinny Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnong Latte and Caramel Brulée Latte.
Scotts Valley has three Starbucks locations:
- At 5600 Scottts Valley D (near the Scotts Valley Market)
- At 219 Mount Hermon Rd.
- Inside Safeway on Mount Hermon Road
