Get Out: Your Guide to What's Happening This Weekend

Don't miss Holiday Food Drives, Story Hour, and Holiday Fairs this week.

Where/When: Boulder Creek Library, 13390 West Park Ave., Boulder Creek. Wednesday at 11 a.m.

What: Children's Storytime every Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. to 12:30am. Children's Storytime is designed for families with children 3-6 years old. Early literacy skills are encouraged through reading, singing, crafts, and fun. For more information please visit the library's website. FREE.

Where/When: The Rio Theater, 1205 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz. 8 p.m.

What: Film Premier: Like There's No Tomorrow

Where/When: The Santa Cruz County Bank, 4604 Scotts Valley Drive, in Scotts Valley, and all branches of the Santa Cruz County Bank Bank. Every day until Dec. 16.

What: Santa Cruz County Bank is Collecting Food and Cash for the Second Harvest Holiday Food Drive. The Bank's goal is to collect over 10,000 pounds of food for the local Food Bank. Food Collection barrels and cash distribution receptacles will be at each branch location of the SCCB until December 16. For every $1 raised, four meals are provided. Every full barrel provides 125 pounds of food and feeds over 100 people. FREE.

Where/When: Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Scotts Valley Community Center at 360 Kings Village Rd., from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

What: The Scotts Valley Farmers Market sells organic, locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as eggs, meats, seafood and yes, coffee and pastries! 

Where/When: Saturday, Nov. 26 at Cabrillo College, 6500 Soquel Drive, Aptos. 8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m.

What: The 5th Annual Home and Hearth Holiday Fair at the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College begins November 26. Do all of your holiday shopping locally – lots of free parking, easy access. Find unique, handmade gifts by twelve local artists for your friends and family.
