Man Arrested for Having Sex with a Minor

A 20-year-old Felton man was arrested Wednesday night for having sex with a young girl, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office

Alexander Pollack was arrested at the Quick Stop in Felton after police were called to the scene of a confrontation between Pollack and the family of the 13-year-old girl.

Pollack, who recently moved to the area from Tennessee, befriended the girl at Felton Faire Shopping Center. On one occasion, he offered to drive the girl home and then stopped and had sexual intercourse with her, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Pollack is being charged with lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. He is in Santa Cruz County Jail with bail set at $50,000.

The Sheriff’s Office believes there may be other victims that have not come forward. Pollack drives a 1993 Red Toyota Celica withTennessee license plates.
