Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct, Burglary, Vandalism

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On July 17 at 5:50 a.m. on Bean Creek Road–An unknown person broke into a vehicle and took a gym bag. A neighbor interrupted the theft and the person left the area.

Between July 16 at 7:30 p.m. and July 17 at 1:47 p.m. on Bean Creek Road–An unknown person broke into a vehicle and stole two portable GPS units.

Between July 18 at 5 p.m. and July 19 at 8:50 a.m. on Civic Center Drive–An unknown person entered a vacant apartment, which was under renovation. No construction tools were taken, nor was there damage to the property.

On July 19 between 8 a.m. and 7:38 p.m. on Scotts Valley Drive–An unknown person put nails and screws under the tires of an RV, flattening two of them.

On July 19 at 10:43 p.m. on Glen Canyon Road–A driver and three passengers were stopped while officers were doing an area check for a suspicious vehicle. The driver was on probation and during a vehicle search a loaded weapon was found. The driver was arrested and booked into County Jail.

On July 20 at 4:50 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–Officers conducted a warrant service on a 32-year-old man. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to County Jail.

On July 20 at 10:49 p.m. on Scotts Valley Drive–Officers contacted a 41-year-old intoxicated man walking down the street. He was unable to care for his safety and was taken into custody. He was arrested for public intoxication and booked into County Jail.

On July 20 at 11:31 p.m. on Victor Square–A man was found by police passed out on a bench in front of YoGizmo Yogurt. He was intoxicated, appeared confused and was unable to care for himself. He was arrested and booked into County Jail.
