Police Blotter: Vandalism, Theft, Fraud

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Sept. 24 at 11:40 a.m. on Christel Oaks Drive–A woman sold her car through Craigslist and the check she received from the buyer bounced two days later.

On Sept. 24 at 11:57 a.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A man was stumbling around drunk while walking two dogs at Scotts Valley Square.

On Sept. 24 at 2:09 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A man stole a razor and various other items from Safeway.

On Sept. 24 at 4:25 p.m. on Woodhill Drive–A man said he is receiving annoying calls from an ex-girlfriend.

On Sept. 24 at 4:47 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A woman dropped her iPhone out of her car in a parking lot. When she returned, the phone was gone. The phone’s GPS showed it had made its way to Santa Cruz.

On Sept. 24 at 9:23 p.m. on Mt.  Hermon Road–A man was reported to be pressing all the buttons at the stop light and walking “all crazy” in the middle of the road. He was also walking back and forth in between the sidewalk and running around in circles and jumping around.

On Sept. 24 at 10:52 p.m. on Bethany Drive–A woman reported that her ex-boss has been sending her harassing text messages calling her names and being “very rude.”

On Sept. 25 at 12:40 a.m. on La Madrona Drive–There was a report of six to seven people in the pool at the Hilton that were not guests and were refusing to leave.

On Sept. 26 at 12:37 p.m. on Bean Creek Road–An unknown person stole items from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked at a residence.

On Sept. 27 at 7:35 a.m. on Cadillac Drive–An unknown person stole a backpack out of an unlocked vehicle.

On Sept. 27 at 8:20 a.m. on Quien Sabe Drive–An unknown person broke into a garage and took two Makita drills and a Craftsman router and case, along with a 30-pack of Budweiser.

On Sept. 27 at 8:25 a.m. on Cadillac Drive–An unknown person broke into an unlocked car and took an iPod while it was parked in the driveway overnight.

On Sept. 27 at 10:50 a.m. on Cadillac Drive–An unknown person slashed the roof of a car and stole items from two other cars all parked in the same driveway.

On Sept. 29 at 1:06 a.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–Two intoxicated men broke a window at 76 Gas with their fists.

On Sept. 29 at 9:41 p.m. on Scotts Valley Drive–Two women were in a verbal argument at Jack in the Box. One of the women said the other threw something at her car.

On Sept. 30 at 9 a.m. on Whispering Pines Drive–A man reported that someone was fraudulently using his credit card and charged $158.24 in Wisconsin.
