Benefit Concerts Raise More Than $75K For Bryan Stow

Organizers of a Napa music festival have raised more than $75,000 for Bryan Stow, a San Francisco Giants fan who was critically injured at a Los Angeles Dodgers game in 2011.

The funds were raised at two benefit concerts in Napa and Redwood City in January organized by WillPower Entertainment and featuring Giants third base coach Tim Flannery and his band Lunatic Fringe, according to organizers.

The group also raised $41,000 for Stow at a previous concert in 2012. Stow, A Santa Cruz-area paramedic and father of two who was attacked by two men outside Dodger Stadium after the March 31, 2011 opening day game, suffered a severe head injury from which he is still recovering.

While he has been in a rehabilitation facility for much of the past year, his family reported this week that he is in the hospital undergoing treatment for blood clots.

Stow recently underwent surgery to address extra bone growth in his hips and will require additional surgery to remove extra bone growth in other joints.
