The Scotts Valley High lacrosse team defeated Soquel High 17-0 Friday night at Soquel High.
Collin Corbella led the way with four goals and seven assists. Other goals were scored by Tre Braquet, Wesley Koenig, Ari Wargon, Jake Rehnberg, Alexis Pineda, Reza Dabir and Brett Klotz.
Callum Percy, Scott Hunter and Cole Deblock came together as a defensive unit, controlling balls and successfully clearing to the offense. Scotts Valley JV substitutes had a chance to play late and gain experience for future games.
Goalie Eric Dunn had four saves and Chris Martin had two saves.
